Terms of Service

By using CivicGlow, you agree to these terms and the Community Rules shown in the app. You must be at least 18 years old.

Community use

CivicGlow is for concrete, constructive local stories. Harassment, hate or discrimination, identifying personal details without permission, emergency or crime alerts, impersonation, commercial solicitation, fundraising, and unlawful content are prohibited.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant CivicGlow a limited license to host, display, moderate, and distribute content as needed to operate the service. You confirm that you have the right and permission to share submitted material.

Moderation

Submissions may be scanned and human-reviewed. We may reject, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these terms, protect community safety, or comply with law. Reporting and blocking tools are available in the app.

Membership

CivicGlow Weekly renews automatically each week unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple displays the applicable local price before confirmation and bills your account. Manage or cancel through your Apple account subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app.

Apple Standard EULA

Your use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Service availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. CivicGlow is not an emergency service, news wire, or substitute for professional advice.

Account closure

You may request account deletion in the app. We may suspend or close accounts for serious or repeated violations, abuse, fraud, or legal requirements.
